HOUSTON -

The search continues for the crooks who smashed their way into a CVS pharmacy in search of quick money Tuesday morning.

It happened at around 4:15 a.m. at the store on Aldine Mail near JFK Boulevard. According to police, a driver backed a pickup truck into the front doors. Officers believe the security alarm scared off the group.

The driver and passengers inside the truck jumped out a short while later after one of the tires fell off the truck.

Sheriff's deputies found the truck still running and dusted the vehicle for fingerprints.
