HOUSTON - A suspected drunken driver was arrested after leading police on a chase through southwest Houston.
It all started around 1 a.m. Thursday on Glenmont near Adler when a Houston police officer saw a white Ford Mustang speeding.
Police say the officer tried to pull the car over, but the driver sped off, ran two stops signs and red lights.
Officials say the chase continued onto the Southwest Freeway.
Police say the suspect's vehicle side-swiped an SUV, lost control and then crashed into a wall near the Buffalo Speedway exit.
Authorities say there were two men inside the Mustang.
Police arrested the driver for felony evading and DWI charges. The passenger was also arrested.
