HOUSTON -

A man was arrested after a burglary at a northwest Harris County bank early Thursday morning.

Harris County deputies said the man broke into the Amegy Bank on Stuebner Airline near Louetta Road.

Investigators said the man smashed through a backdoor sending shards of glass in all directions.

Once inside, deputies said the burglar stole TVs, projectors, and anything he could get his hands on before escaping out of the back door.

Deputies in the area with help from a K-9 unit tracked the man down before he could get to his getaway car.

The suspect was arrested and all of the stolen items were recovered.

The vault inside the bank was never breached.
