Suspect taunts Rosenberg police, leads to arrest

ROSENBERG, Texas – Rosenberg police say over the weekend two brothers broke into 17 cars in the Seabourne Meadows area of the city.

According to police, they stole things sunglasses, GPS devices, phone charges and anything else they could get their hands on.

On Sunday, Damian Lozano was arrested and Monday morning, detectives put up a 'wanted' post for his brother, Rolando.

"We put it on Facebook asking for the community to help today with seeking this subject," Lt. Brian Baker explained.

But to the police department's surprise, Rolando, the suspect they were searching for, actually posted on the police department's page.

"I'm innocent, catch me if you can," read his post.

"Within minutes of him posting that, we were able to make an arrest," Baker said.

Both brothers are now in custody charged with burglary of motor vehicle.
