HOUSTON -

Deputies continue to search for a man wanted in a fatal shooting, after one was arrested on Monday.

Rasheed Shelton has been charged with tampering with evidence, in the connection of the deadly shooting of Jawon Carson.

Carson was found dead under a bridge on Richey Road near the Hardy Toll Road earlier this month.

According to Houston police, Carson was at his home on Dec.13, when he went down stairs. Witnesses who were at the house at the time told police moments later they heard gunshots.

When those witnesses went to investigate, Carson was no where to be found. Soon afterwards they called Carson's family who filed a missing persons report.

Houston police say after further investigation, they found the vehicle used to dump Carson's body. This led police to Rasheed Shelton and Anthony Johnson.

Investigators have yet to say what led them to the suspects vehicle.

Police are still searching for Johnson. He has been charged with capital murder.
