HOUSTON -

Harris County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man who was allegedly caught breaking into a convenience store on the northeast side of town early Monday.

The man was nabbed while leaving the Diamond Food convenience store on Little York at Aldine Westfield around 4:30 a.m.

Deputies, with the assistance of K-9 units, searched the perimeter thinking there was a second suspect, but no one was found.

Deputies said the intruder gained access to the store by making a hole in the side of the building.
