SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A 60-year-old woman from San Antonio is behind bars after being charged with criminal solicitation to commit murder.
Investigators said Ruth Comer tried to hire a hit man to carry out the crime, but did not name of the intended target.

Police also said Comer is also a person of interest in a separate death investigation.
Jerry Collins was found murdered in his trailer last January.
According to court documents, Comer stood to gain a lot of money from Collins' will.
Although Comer has not been officially charged in that death.
