Surveillance video released of NW Houston Hotel robbery

HOUSTON – Two men were caught on camera robbing a hotel at gunpoint on July 13 in northwest Houston, police said.

The incident was reported at 2:30 p.m. at Crossland Hotel, located in the 5900 block of Guhn Road.

Police said both men walked into to the hotel where one of them pointed a handgun at the clerks. Police said the gunman jumped over the counter and demanded money from the register and safe.

The men took the money and fled the scene.

The first suspects is described as a 25 to 35 year old black man, 5 feet 7 inches to 8 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark pants, dark cap and gray shoes.

The second suspect is described as a 25 to 35 year old black man, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt, black pants, gray shoes and a red cap.
