HOUSTON, Texas – Its been almost three years since since Texas A&M beat the University of Texas on the football field. But according to a new study released by affordablecollegesonline.org, the Aggies have gotten a bit of revenge off the field.
Weighing graduate's income against tuition, the study found Texas A&M had a slightly better return on investment compared to UT-Austin.

Among colleges in Texas, A&M grads received slightly more than a million return on their investments compared to just under a million for UT. That ranks the rivals 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The only school more worth the investment, according to the study, is Rice University. Despite paying an annual tuition of nearly $38,000, Owl graduates got back $1,069,000 on their investment.
"That's what's most important in terms of (student) satisfaction," Rice University vice president for enrollment Chris Munoz said. "The return on the investment for the experience at Rice University for what it costs. That's evidenced by our growth in our applicant pool the last six years."
Another distinction for Rice University was revealed Tuesday after the Princeton Review claimed Rice students had the best quality of life in the country.
