Street racing may have led to a deadly crash in northwest Harris County.
Harris County Sheriff’s deputies say just before midnight Thursday, a motorcyclist sped down West Little York near Commerce Creek at over 100 miles per hour. He blasted by another motorcyclist, who then saw a car lose control in his rear-view mirror.
The car left the roadway, slid into a ditch and flipped, throwing the driver out. Life Flight airlifted the man to the hospital where he died. No other passengers were in the car.
Deputies believe the victim was racing the motorcyclist. Authorities are still searching for that person.
