Store manager injured when car drives through tailor shop

Police said woman was trying to park, lost control

HOUSTON – The manager of a tailor shop is in the hospital after a car drove through the building where he was working, pinning him against a sewing machine and injuring him, according to police.

Police in northwest Harris County said a woman was trying to park her car when she lost control of the vehicle around noon on Tuesday. The car ended up inside Nancy's Drapery and Tailors, 4310 Highway 6, said police.

The driver was also taken to the hospital, police said, but the condition of the driver and the store manager have not been released.
