Investigators had originally charged Reynolds last year, but dropped those charges after two Harris County investigators were discovered to have been stealing evidence related to Reynolds' case.

Reynolds is accused of participating in a kickback scheme in which he would pay to receive clients who were recently involved in accidents in which they were not at fault for.

Reynolds denies the allegations.
