Police search for killer in Stafford man's death

Crime Stoppers offers $5,000 reward for information leading to arrest

FORT BEND, Texas – The Stafford police and Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers are looking for the person responsible for killing a man in Stafford in July.

Stafford police officers went to a home on Grove West Boulevard on July 30 for a disturbance call.         

Officers discovered the body of a black man in his early 30s, later identified as Edward James Nelson II, also known as Jaimie.

The Stafford Police Department is asking anyone with information to call Detective Michael Ramirez at 281-261-3991.

Anyone who has information on the crime is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers Inc. at 281-342-TIPS (8477). All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
