An overturned 18-wheeler shut down a Houston highway for nearly seven hours.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Southwest Freeway in the southbound lanes at Montrose.
Investigators say the 18-wheeler slid on the slick road and lost control. It overturned and a number of metal sheets it was carrying fell off and onto the freeway.
It took crews until 2 a.m. Thursday to clean up the mess, which backed up traffic for hours.
