Arson investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire at a house on Houston's southside.

Firefighters arrived at the house on Ashville and Chimira around 1:15 a.m. Monday.

Crews say they found flames coming from the roof of the one story building.

After making a fast attack, firefighters were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

The house was vacant, and appeared to have been that way for some time.

No one was hurt.
