HOUSTON -

Authorities have released a sketch of two suspects wanted in connection to the sexual assault of a woman whose throat was slashed and was left for dead last month.

It happened on August 18 in north Harris County. According to investigators, the victim was walking along the vicinity of Veterans Memorial and Antoine between 9:30pm and 10pm  when she was approached by two Hispanic males in a white-colored, four-door Nissan.

The suspect in the passenger's seat got out and forced the victim into the backseat of the vehicle.

After driving around for a while, the suspects pulled off onto the 100 block of Gillespie Rd., just off of I-45 North, where the victim was sexually assaulted. The suspects then cut her throat and left her for dead before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a Hispanic male, mid to late 20s, about 5 foot 7 inches tall and of a medium build. He was wearing a baseball cap.

The passenger is described as a Hispanic male, early 20s, about 5 foot 2 inches tall and of slim build. Both suspects spoke Spanish with what is believed to be a Salvadoran accent.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspects in this case should contact the HCSO’s Special Victims Unit at 713-967-5743 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
