HOUSTON -

Houston police have released a sketch of a man they say assaulted a woman as she worked in her yard in northeast Houston.

The victim, Puaimohala Hardy, says she was shaking out rugs near her apartment on April 1, when the suspect slowly drove by on Greens Road, trying to grab her attention. She says when she didn't respond, he pulled into her apartment complex.

"Pretty soon I saw this guy coming toward me in all black," Hardy said.

The victim, 68, was outside of her home on April 1, when the suspect approached her and exposed himself.

The victim ran into her home, but the suspect followed and tried to force his way inside.  The woman was able to escape by screaming frantically for help.

The suspect was seen in a PT Cruiser or Chevy HHR style vehicle. He is described as being in his late 20's to early 30's with an average build and between 5 feet 9 and five feet 10 inches tall.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Call 713-222-TIPS or download Houston Crime Stoppers app.
