Composite Sketch Released Of West Airport Blvd. Shooter

HOUSTON – Houston police released a sketch Thursday in the case of a man fatally shot in his southwest Houston garage.

Marcus Keith Mehundrew, 26, was pronounced dead after being shot in the torso at a home located at 7945 West Airport Blvd.

According to police, Mehundrew was sitting in a garage at the home with two others Sunday when the shooter approached and asked for drugs. After Mehundrew said he didn't have any, the man shot him several times before taking off, investigators said.

Mehundrew ran down the driveway before collapsing.

Authorities released a sketch of a man police described as a black male, around 20 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, green shorts and a white hat.
