The car apparently started to miss its exit to Reed Road and swerved to the right to try and make the exit ramp.
The driver lost control and the car crashed through a ditch and sign on the side of the freeway. It came to a stop in a field.
The two people in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
