Authorities said shots were fired during an attempted bank robbery Wednesday morning.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said it happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 5300 block of W. FM 1960.
According to the FBI, a masked gunman tried to get into the bank before employees opened the doors.
Investigators said the gunman got into some type of struggle at the front door and seconds later, fired at least one shot.
The bullet shattered the front door.
Authorities are searching for the would-be robber who did not get away with any cash.
No one was injured and no customers were inside because the bank was not open for business.
FBI officials are reviewing surveillance video from the bank.
