HOUSTON – Sky 2 was over Interstate 45, the North Freeway, at Hardy Toll Road where a large pothole shut down two lanes early Wednesday morning.
As of 5 p.m., the hole has since been repaired and the road has been reopened.
The left and center lanes of I-45 were shut down during rush hour after multiple cars were damaged by the pothole, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
TXDOT posted on its Twitter account that crews had began pouring new cement at 2 p.m. and they were hopeful that it would be fixed by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
