HARRRIS COUNTY, Texas – A missing 11-year-old girl from north Harris County has been found safe and reunited with her family, according to deputies.
Nekedria "Ke Ke" Collins was reported missing around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators said the girl walked out of her home at the Fallbrook Ranch Apartments in the 400 block of West Road.
Nekedria's father said she lived at home with her mother and the mother's boyfriend, and she might have run away.
Though the girl walked away from the apartment, police said, they are not treating it as a runaway case. Helicopters and K-9s were used to search for the girl in a nearby wooded area and throughout the complex.
Nekedria was located with a good Samaritan, deputies said.
