The other woman went home, but Cruz was never seen or heard from again. No one in Minnesota or Texas reported her missing.

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said they got a Crime Stoppers tip to search a property in the 100 block of Rustic Lane. They did that on Thursday.

Detectives scoured the 5-acre parcel of land near the Brazos River. They collected some items, but they have to be analyzed to determine if they are connected to Cruz's case.

Two persons of interest have been identified in the case. One has died and the other is in jail. Their names have not been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
