GALVESTON -

The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended their search for a man who was pulled under water near San Luis Pass on Friday. They stopped the search after a body washed ashore and was found early Sunday morning.

The body was found by a man walking the beach.

The body has not been identified, but crews assume it is the body of 21-year-old Marke Jamaal Williams of Clear Lake.

Friends say Williams stepped into a hole and was swept away by they current.

The Coast Guard says this is a dangerous part of the beach. There are "no swimming" signs posted in that area.

This is the fourth drowning near San Luis Pass in the past few weeks.
