School investigates possible employee, student relationship

HOUSTON – Officials with the Klein Independent School District have launched an administrative investigation into a possible relationship between a female student and an employee.

School officials said an athletic trainer at Klein Oak High School was placed on administrative leave on Wednesday after allegations were raised about a "possible inappropriate relationship" with a female student at the High School.

School officials would not comment on the specifics of the allegations but did state, "If the conduct is determined to be illegal, we would work with law enforcement to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law and notify the appropriate licensing agency regarding the employee's certification."
