KATY, Texas - A junior high school was evacuated Monday after a threatening message was found on a restroom wall.
Katy Independent School District officials said the note was found at Beckendorff Junior High, 8200 South Fry Road, about 9 a.m.
The school was evacuated while Katy ISD police searched the school.
Nothing was found and the all-clear was given about 10:20 a.m., school district officials said.
Officials have not said what was in the threatening message.
Parents said they got an email detailing what happened.
"It's scary," parent Kim Bozeman said. "My son is a sixth-grader. This whole junior high experience is new, but you really expect to send your kids to school and everything is going to be OK."
Administrators said they were trying to determine who wrote the message.
