SANTA FE, Texas – Santa Fe Independent School District is responding after the Social Security numbers of hundreds of students were found online.
A parent says she found her son's information, along with the names and Social Security numbers of about 300 high school students, during an Internet search.

The district says the incident was not part of a breach, rather the information was located on a teacher's storage drive.
In a statement, the district said:
"This is surprising and both disappointing and unacceptable and will be addressed according to district policies and procedures."
