HOUSTON - Police are looking for the person who smashed out the window of a sandwich shop in northwest Houston.

It happened around 4 a.m. Monday at the Murphy's Deli on 14908 Highway 290 at West Little York.

When police arrived, they found a large front window broken out. They believe the restaurant's alarm may have scared off the thief.

The owner checked the restaurant, but did not believe anything was taken.

Police said there are no security cameras to help them in the investigation.
