Rockets point guard Pat Beverley is known for his defensive prowess and the NBA has taken notice.

In his second season in the league, Beverley has been selected to the NBA All-Defensive Team with a place on the second team.

Rockets center Dwight Howard received 26 first-team votes and six votes for the second team. Shooting guard James Harden, who is not known for his defensive skills, received two second-team votes.
