HOUSTON - A man held up a northwest Harris County store, but he wasn't after cash, investigators said.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man walked into a Walgreens and went to the pharmacy about 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 30.
The man gave someone working in the pharmacy a threatening note demanding prescription drugs, detectives said.
The employee complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of pills, officials said.
The man was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall and about 180 to 190 pounds with light brown facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, dark-colored pants and dark-colored shoes. He got away in an early 2000 model Ford F-150 pickup truck.
