HOUSTON – Two teens are accused in a violent robbery that backfired.
Police said they caught the teens after one of them accidentally fired his gun, hitting his accomplice, as they tried to make their getaway.

That robbery happened at a gas station Wednesday night at the Best Stop Valero store on West Little York and Langfield in northeast Houston.
A surveillance video shows one of the boys stomping a clerk's head as the other points a gun at the cashier's head while taking money from the register.
Police recovered about $800 taken from the gas station.
The names of the suspected burglars have not been released.
