FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - A man robbed a Fort Bend County pharmacy, but he didn't want cash, investigators said.
Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said the man held up the Walgreens store in the 22200 block of Westheimer Parkway about 1:10 p.m. Friday.
Investigators said the robber walked to the pharmacy area and handed over a threatening note demanding certain drugs.
The pharmacist handed over an undisclosed amount of Oxycontin pills, deputies said.
The robber was described as white, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing an off-white pullover long-sleeved shirt, a dark baseball cap and sunglasses with white or silver frames.
The thief got away in a dark-colored small-model Hummer, officials said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
