Reward offered in store robbery in NW Harris County

Authorities searching for man who robbed business on Aug. 3

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed a food store in northwest Harris County.

It happened around 1:50 p.m. Aug. 3 on the 16800 block of Theiss Mail Route Road.

An employee at the store told authorities a man came to the register and acted like he was going to buy an item.

That's when the man pulled a gun, hopped over the counter and demanded cash from the clerk. The robber left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 27. Authorities say he is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs between 160-170 pounds.
