Reward offered for Pearland bank robbers who held tellers at gunpoint

PEARLAND, Texas – A $5,000 reward was offered Monday for information that leads to the identification and arrest of three people accused of robbing a Pearland bank six months ago.

The Regions Bank branch at 2624 McHard Road was robbed by two men about 11 a.m. May 27.

According to the FBI, two men walked into the bank while a third person waited in the getaway car. While inside the bank, the two men held employees at gunpoint for nearly 15 minutes before they ran out of the back door with cash.

One of the robbers was described as black, 20 to 35 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 170 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dreadlock wig and a neon construction vest.

The second robber was described as black, 20 to 35 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 210 and 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a wide-brimmed, camouflage hat.

The getaway car was described as a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix with tinted windows.
