Reward increased for killer of man found in boat storage unit

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Division is asking for the public’s help to find the people responsible for the 2013 slaying of 27-year-old Anthony "Tony" Mungia. 

Deputies were called on July 2, 2013 to the Langham Creek Boat Storage in the 5600 block of Addicks Satsuma. Investigators met with Mungia’s wife, who told them she went to the storage facility to check on her husband after she was unable to contact him by phone.

She told investigators that Mungia's truck was parked outside his storage unit, blood was found inside the unit and Mungia’s body was found in the back of the unit. He had been stabbed multiple times, investigators said.

Crime Stoppers is offering an increased reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in the case.
