Our first stop this week is Hunan King in the 5700 block of Chimney Rock, where health inspectors said they saw roaches in all areas of the premises.

Employee Ray Jiang told Davis there was only one roach.

"Why would they write that if there was only one?" Davis asked him.

"Nothing I can do," Jiang replied as he shrugged his shoulders.

Jiang said he called an exterminator and got the hot water heater repaired so he could reopen the next day.

Inspectors said they saw three live roaches in the gap of the chicken display and floor at the Kroger on 11th Street and Shepherd Drive in the Heights.

A Kroger representative sent us the following statement:

"Safety and sanitation is of the utmost importance for our customers and associates. This is a rare incident isolated to one location that was immediately corrected. The area of sighting was located on the floor in a corner behind a refrigerated case. All stores are inspected bi-monthly by an independent sanitation agency and treated accordingly."

Before the Texans took on the Colts, inspectors asked Aramark employees at Reliant Stadium to clean up dead insects and carcasses in the level five kitchen of the stadium. They also destroyed some 60 pounds of beef and shrimp that was too hot in a walk-in cooler.

Craving a doughnut? At Southern Maid Donuts in the 6400 block of Richmond, inspectors said employees need to keep the floor clean, especially since the floor is where they left a bucket of icing for breakfast pastries.

The floors are spotless at Ginza Japanese Restaurant in the 5800 block of San Felipe. Also earning top grades this week for perfect inspections: Jamba Juice in the 12000 block of Queensbury and Domino's Pizza in the 4300 block of Kingwood Drive.
