HOUSTON – A elementary school was locked down after a suspicious person was reported on campus, school district officials said.
Houston Independent School District officials said Barrick Elementary, located in the 12000 block of Winfrey Lane, was placed on lock down around 9:15 a.m. Monday.

The school remained locked until the Houston Police Department was notified.
When officers arrived at the school, they could not locate a suspicious person.
The lockdown was lifted at 10:30 a.m.
