Report: Andre Johnson tells Texans he wants to be traded

HOUSTON - Star wide receiver Andre Johnson has told the Houston Texans he wants to be traded, according to an NFL.com report.

After missing a portion of offseason workouts, the report says Johnson still asked for his $1 million bonus if he worked out to make up for the time he missed. Apparently the team said no, and that caused a rift to grow between Johnson and the Texans.

The report says the Texans have not explored a trade, though four teams are reportedly interested in the veteran.

NFL.com says Johnson said he didn't know if he be with the Texans for Week 1 of the season

Back at OTAs in May, new Texans head coach said about Johnson, "He and I have had positive conversations. I have a ton of respect for him. We'd love to have him here right now and that's up to him. We're moving forward with the players that are here."
