HOUSTON – A jury has made a decision in the trial of a Houston rapper accused of raping a 16-year-old girl.
Calderon Texada was found guilty of indecency of a child. He was sentenced to 6 years in jail for the crime.

Prosecutors said Texada raped the young girl back in 2013.
Then in 2015, he walked out of a court hearing and disappeared. Texada later surrendered in California.
The jury was hung on the 2nd count, sexual assault of a child.
He reached a plea deal for two other charges. He was sentenced to 3 years for bail jumping and 1 year for assault of a family member.
Texada will have to register as a sex offender when he is released.
