HOUSTON - Thousands of people waited in line at the University of Houston to hear GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul speak Friday night.
The Lake Jackson congressman is in third place behind Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, but he still has a very large fan base, especially in Houston.
Paul has spent the last few days in Texas. He held a town hall meeting and a fundraiser in Austin on Thursday.
On Wednesday, he made a stop at the University of Texas at El Paso.
