PEARLAND, Texas – An armed woman chased her boyfriend down a neighborhood street and ended up committing suicide, police said.
Pearland police said they were called out to the 5700 block of Grovesnor about 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators said witnesses told them they heard at least one gunshot and saw a man being chased by an armed woman.
An officer got to the scene and tried to talk to the woman. When the woman saw the officer, she shot herself in the head, police said.
The woman died at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The man the woman was chasing was shot in the shoulder, investigators said. Police said they were working to determine if he was shot before or when he was running.
The man was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital. His condition has not been released.
