HOUSTON – According to police, a body was discovered around 4 a.m Sunday in the 7000 block of Westview Drive.
The victim's daughter came home to find her mother dead inside the apartment. Paramedics arrived and determined the death was suspicious. Houston police homicide detectives were contacted to investigate.

The victim was babysitting her three grandkids at the time. The grandkids were asleep in the bedroom and were not harmed, police say.
According to police, the victim did have trauma.
Investigators are currently searching for clues to determine what happened.
