HOUSTON – Officers surrounded a motel near Reliant Park because of a hostage situation.
Houston police said a woman called 911 about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, claiming she was being held against her will at a Motel 6 on Main Street near Kirby.

Detectives said a man was arrested at the motel. His name has not been released.
A woman was being questioned by officers.
Police have not said what sparked the situation, but the man and woman had been together for two years.
