Three men, two armed with handguns, entered the business and demanded money from the employees, according to investigators. They said the men stole a cash register, a wallet and a cellphone before leaving the store.

The men reportedly drove away in a stolen vehicle that had been reported stolen in a carjacking in the area of FM 1960 and Imperial Valley days earlier, according to investigators.

Investigators said a deputy constable spotted the vehicle at Aldine Westfield Road and Treaschwig Road and tried to pull it over, but it did not stop and the driver lead police on a short chase.

The chase ended when the vehicle turned down the 1000 block of Redcrest Springs Court, which is a dead-end street, investigators said.

Deputy contstables said all three men jumped out of the car and tried to escape with the stolen money, but deputies caught and arrested all three men.

Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said in a release, “George Duncan, Darius Jones and Justin Doucet. All have been charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and booked into the Harris County Jail.”
