Police seek to identify Baytown bank robber

BAYTOWN, Texas – The Baytown Police Department is attempting to identify a man who robbed a First Convenience Bank at 3500 Garth Road on Wednesday.

Police said the man approached the counter around 11:20 a.m., handed a note to a teller demanding money and threatened harm if the teller did not comply.

The robber was able to leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen walking northbound from the store.

Police described the robber as black, 30 to 35 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build and thin mustache.

The robber was wearing a light brown sun hat, clear safety glasses and a blue, long-sleeve T-shirt with white lettering on the on the front and back.
