Police seek man in connection with 2 aggravated robberies on July 4

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man believed to be responsible for two aggravated robberies in Pasadena on July 4.

The man entered the first gas station in the 2000 block of Allen Genoa Road at 4:29 a.m., according to police.

He entered the store with a pizza box in his hands, approached the front counter, pulled out a black pistol and demanded money from the cashier, police said.

The cashier handed over an undisclosed amount of money before the man left the scene on foot, according to reports.

Police believe that the same man is responsible for another gas station robbery in the 7900 block of Howard Drive at 4:54 p.m. on the same day.

During the second robbery, the man entered the store with a similar pizza box, approached the cashier, pulled out a black pistol and demanded money, police said.

The man left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The man is described as white and approximately 25-30 years old. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves, black pants with white stripes and white tennis shoes. He had a black pistol.
