Police seek help finding killer of woman whose body was found in trash heap

HOUSTON – Family members and police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the suspect responsible for the murder of Jacqueline Anderson, whose body was found in a pile of trash last summer.

On July 27, 2015, the decomposed body of Jacqueline Anderson was found in a lot next to an old liquor store in the 7400 block of Scott Street. Deputies believe she was dumped there several weeks before the owner of the store found her while he was cleaning up trash on the property.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences positively identified the victim as Anderson on Sept. 10.

"To be killed and left out here to die, no one should do a human being like that," her sister Debra Walker said.

She still walks up and down Scott Street, trying to find answers that could lead to an arrest in her sister's brutal death.

"I have been in the area looking and talking with people," Walker said.

Investigators said Anderson regularly frequented the areas of Scott Street and Cullen Boulevard inside the 610 Loop.  Her family is Anderson is asking for help from the community in tracking down her killer.
