2 men wanted for restaurant robbery attempt

HOUSTON – Police are searching for two men who broke into a north Houston restaurant and attempted to steal from the cash register.

The attempted burglary happened at the 2900 block of North Shepherd Drive on June 1 at 4:10 a.m., according to investigators.

Investigators said surveillance footage shows two men breaking the window of the restaurant and making their way to the cash register when the alarms begin to sound.

The two men then quickly left the restaurant without taking anything, officers said.

The restaurant manager was notified of the incident when the alarms went off, according to investigators.
