Man accused of sexual assault at SW Houston gas station

Crime stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for his arrest

HOUSTON, Tx – Police are looking for a man they say tried to sexually assault a woman while she was pumping gas last month in southwest Houston.

The man reportedly attacked the woman at a gas station on Almeda Genoa Rd. near Almeda Rd.

Investigators said the man pushed the woman onto her driver seat, climbed on top of her and tried to lift up her shirt. She was able to fight him off and the man ran away.

The man did not take anything and fled the scene in a red SUV.

He is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, with a clean shaven head and face wearing a purple shirt.

Crime stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward to get this man’s arrest.
