HOUSTON -

Police are looking for the gunman after a man was found shot to death in southeast Houston.

It happened shortly before  11 p.m. Monday in front of the Bellfort Apartments on Bellfort near Stone Street.

Houston police said a 24-year-old Hispanic man was in by the apartment’s front gate talking to a Black man in a gray or silver vehicle.

Officials said the Hispanic man walked away down Bellfort, and that’s when the other man pulled around, got out of his car and shot the other guy at close range.

The victim collapsed in the street. Officials said he suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

Houston police said there are very few details in the case.
